Our Educational Vision

We seek to nurture girls who learn with purpose, live with integrity and serve with compassion — confident in their Islamic identity, academically ambitious, respectful of others and equipped to make a positive contribution to Britain and the wider world.

This gives you a much stronger school-prospectus/website version, while the detailed aims can then feed directly into your curriculum policy, school development plan, behaviour policy, personal development programme and Islamic ethos statement.

Service, Leadership and Social Responsibility

Islam places strong emphasis on compassion, generosity and responsibility towards others. CMSS will translate these principles into meaningful opportunities for service and community engagement.

Our Aims and Objectives

To nurture confident, knowledgeable and compassionate young women who are grounded in faith and prepared to make a positive contribution to society.

CMSS Cambridge

Faith, Spirituality and Character

CMSS will nurture a strong Islamic identity alongside a broad and ambitious education.

We aim to:

1 – Develop pupils’ understanding of Islam, including the Qur’an, Sunnah, worship, Islamic history and ethics.

2 – Encourage pupils to develop a meaningful relationship with Allah (SWT) through prayer, reflection, remembrance and good deeds.

3 – Embed Islamic character and akhlaq throughout school life, including honesty, integrity, humility, patience, compassion, gratitude, responsibility and respect.

4 – Help pupils understand how Islamic principles can guide ethical choices and behaviour in everyday life.

5 – Encourage pupils to reflect on their responsibilities towards themselves, their families, their communities and wider society.

CMSS will empower pupils to become confident and capable young women who recognise their strengths, understand their responsibilities and aspire to make a positive contribution.

Academic Excellence and Love of Learning

CMSS will provide a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum aligned with the requirements of the English National Curriculum, while enriching pupils’ education through our Islamic ethos.

We aim to:

1 – Develop secure knowledge, understanding and skills across all curriculum subjects.

2 – Encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving and independent learning.

3 – Promote high standards in literacy, numeracy, science, technology and communication.

4 – Develop a genuine love of learning and an appreciation of knowledge in both religious and academic disciplines.

5 – Ensure pupils are appropriately challenged and supported to achieve their full potential.

6 – Equip pupils with the knowledge and skills necessary for further education, employment and lifelong learning.

At CMSS, academic achievement and Islamic education are complementary rather than competing priorities.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using Content here content here making it look like readable English.
